Game rules

Goal of the game

A game of bluff and deduction. The civilians must unmask the infiltrators: the imposter and, from 5 players, Mr White.

The Roles

• The civilians all get the same secret word. • The imposter gets a close but different word. They don't know they are the imposter! • Mr White gets no word at all: they must bluff by listening to the others. There is 1 imposter up to 6 players, 2 from 7 to 9 players and 3 from 10.

The Clues

The app picks who starts (never Mr White). In turn, everyone gives a single word related to their secret word, without giving too much away.

The Vote

After the round of clues, the group debates, then votes a player out and their role is revealed. Mr White, once voted out, gets a last chance: if they guess the civilians' word, they win the round alone!

Winning

The civilians win when every infiltrator is out. The infiltrators win if only one civilian is left.

Points

The whole winning side scores, eliminated players included: 1 point per civilian, 3 for Mr White and 5 per imposter. The first to 10 or 15 points (your choice) wins the game.
